Rodeo Run

The w/e's have been the time to get out and do it all! In addition to all the awesome SBing we have sooooo much great skating in the area, it's nutz! Alta has been my go to with the dogs on the w/e. Got them out for a hour of mad runnin' then enjoyed another 45 w/ music and poles. The sun has been gracious as well as the winds, nothin' but perfection! Far from what I expect to receive in AK. I have been Snowshoe runnin' during the week, good trainin' and great for the little dudes to get out. We had some Moose encounters this week and my little problem child Rippin' did outstanding! He saw the moose, kept his distance, let out one bark, told him to come and he was on the leash strollin' past the moose! I'm really proud of him! Chillin' is usually very well behaved/scared so hats off to him too! Jay is up in WYS participating in the Rodeo Run. This is a practice race for him as the handler, Stacey and Frank Teasley finished 3rd and 4th along with their 3 teams of eight as racers. Really exciting! Jay's team got a little tangled up, but he handled it like a pro! I know how much work it is to take care of myself during a race, gesh, think of taken care of yourself and 26 dogs! Jay you the man!

With the holidayz approachin', I got some xmas shoppin done and will be sendin' out cards. Of course I'd rather be w/ JayP in West, but I am really lookin' forward to the several dayz we will be spendin' together in March for our honey "ice" moon. Thoughts are rollin', prep is always in mind. Gettin after it!
